Collection
Discarded plastic bottles (from areas at risk of ocean plastic pollution) are picked up by a local collector and taken to an aggregation site where they receive payment.
Sortation
Upon arrival at the collection centre, the plastic bottles are carefully sorted, pressed into bales, and transported to plastic recycling factories where they will be processed.
Processing
At the factory, the plastic is washed, sanitised, and then processed into high-quality R-PET raw material flakes all according to European and North American quality standards.
Traceability
A better choice. The recycled plastic has certified end-to-end traceability from origin at coastline collection to the final production-ready material, where it enters (or re-enters) the circular economy as recycled packaging.
